Principal Darren FitzGerald grew up in Dorrigo, attended school there and in Armidale, and now calls Coffs Harbour home. He holds a Master of Law from Cambridge University and is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University where he convenes international commercial arbitration for postgraduate law students. He has more than 25 years’ experience in senior legal roles in Europe and Asia.
Darren serves on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the NSW Law Society and the Rules Committee of the Australian Centre for Commercial Arbitration. Darren is passionate about resolving conflict fairly, efficiently and outside court where possible. He is an experienced lawyer, arbitrator and mediator. He brings deep legal knowledge shared in a clear, practical and people-focused way.
